We were really lucky to have met Joe and team who did our actual day / solemnisation photography for our wedding! Before the trip, they were already helping with the planning - they did their research, suggested beautiful photo spots, and made sure everything was well thought out. It really helped take the stress off us because we knew we were in good hands. During the trip itself, both Joe and Raine were so easy to work with. They made the whole shoot feel really fun and comfortable, even though we were taking photos in public and surrounded by people. Joe knew exactly how to get the best angles and lighting, and Raine was always there making sure my hair and makeup looked perfect between shots. I especially loved how the makeup and hairstyle turned out - it felt really natural and suited me so well! Joe’s photos captured the vibes of Venice and Lake Como so beautifully - we’ve gotten so many compliments from friends and family! We engaged Joe for a pre wedding photoshoot overseas in southeast asia, and my goodness, was it an absolute pleasure to work with him! The best description of his photos are: classy and timeless. Joe’s passion for photography and work ethic is a marvel of itself, and I guarantee that you will not regret your decision to engage him. I have included our detailed journey with Joe below if you’re interested to read :) Prior to meeting Joe, we have already met a few photographers and done our due research. When Joe asked to meet up, we were initially confused, as we thought that looking at his photos online would suffice. But trust me when I say that u must go down to his studio and take a look at his work! When we first met Joe, he exuded such a sense of excitement and passion for photography, and was so infectious in his humor that we were immediately intrigued. Unlike other photographers we have been to, Joe did not try to hardsell or pressure us into purchasing anything. In fact to the contrary, even after saying that we wanted to sign the package with him, he was only concerned with showing us all his photos and albums haha. You can feel that Joe is proud and confident of his work (as he rightfully should be), and not trying to make a quick buck like others. We just completed our overseas photoshoot with Joe a few weeks back, and it was such a fun and refreshing experience! Joe and his wife were so lighthearted and easy to talk to, and alleviated all our concerns and stress about the trip. Raine's makeup was top-notch, and she was so helpful in helping us throughout the trip. Both Joe and Raine made the trip so fun, and made this overseas shoot feel more like a holiday rather than a photoshoot. After getting back all the raw photos recently, it truly solidifies his talent. I maintain that anybody can take nice photos with a good DSLR, but it takes someone with years of experience and talent to immediately recognize the perfect framing and lighting in a foreign environment. Joe has an excellent eye for picture perfect images, and exactly how to pose couples, so almost all the raw images are stunning. Before we decided to go overseas with Joe, we were very apprehensive, as we were not used to being in front of the camera or posing. Joe is very aware of this, and his style of photography alleviates all this awkwardness, and made us look way better than we are haha. If you want classy and timeless photos, I strongly suggest to meet up with Joe and take a look at his work. Prior to meeting him, we did the usual approach of going with companies with high Google Reviews, and were victims of "hardselling" and hidden costs. Joe's rates are upfront and honest, meeting him does not feel like you're walking into a lion's den, and most importantly he delivers on every promise without any hidden costs.
